#Bookhaul for 5/3 📚

 

Picked up a few books and a movie today. I was a bit disappointed that my local Target(s) (yes, both!!) didn’t have The Unexpected Everything, because they’re supposed to have content special to Target, sigh. I guess I shouldn’t be too upset, since I never did read Since You’ve Been Gone, and a few characters from the latter are supposed to be in the former, and having never read the book I wouldn’t be able to enjoy the significance…sorry, you’ll soon find out that I tend to go on tangents, and will likely do so in another blog post…

Also, (for more things my Targets did not have) A Court of Mist and Fury wasn’t available (also a special Target edition…jerks!), but I did receive an email today that my order from a Sarah J. Maas virtual signing was shipped today, so I should be getting that within a few weeks.

Now, for the books (and movie) that I purchased today :

•The Taming of Drew by Stephanie Kate Strohm ~ I never could resist a book in which someone gets a makeover, even if it’s one that mostly involves the personality.

•Love & Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch ~ The title had me picking this up, and the fact that I love it when the MC is in a foreign country had me buying this.

•The Square Root of Summer by Harriet Reuter Hapgood ~ A book involving time travel?! Yes, please!!

Also couldn’t resist picking up The 5th Wave movie cause I loved the book. 😊
